So far so good this new year...

Hey everyone, hope all is well with our Klatsch members!

So far in this cold January, Dark Roast authors have been the subject of many things. We've been featured, nominated, reviewed and one of us became a finalist! Our family has even expanded some...but more on that later.


So...one of our newer authors, Jade Twilight is the "Author In the Spotlight" for January '10 at Kiyara Benoiti's blog. Click HERE to read the interview. As you may remember we mentioned before, Jade was also featured a few fridays ago HERE, at Dark Diva Reviews.


As you may know, the 2009 Preditors & Editors Reader's Poll is currently underway. Dark Roast and our authors, have been nominated in nearly every category. For the list click HERE and thank you for your support.


Uprising has been reviewed. Christopher Newman's tale of Zombies, Werewolves and Vampires has been reviewed by Dave Brendon. Who was very excited to learn that Chris wrote a sequel, Tales From the Uprising. Read what Dave has to say HERE.


Congrats to our author Keta Diablo ! Keta's book, Carnal Cravings,was a finalist in Elisa Rolle's first annual Rainbow Awards. Well deserved Keta !

Last and certainly not least, the Dark Roast family has expanded. We have expanded our promotions department and added a Review Coordinator. Parker Grey will be handling reviews while Heidi Norrod will continue promotions to advance the Klatsch. Welcome aboard Parker!

Hey Klatsch!

First and foremost let me start off by saying thank you to the men and women that protect our country every day. We shouldnt just think of those abroad fighting for freedom but those here at home as well keeping us safe. Thank you to those of the Armed Forces, our National Gaurd and our Police Officers. Thank you to all of you, for risking your lives to keep this us safe. Happy Memorial Day.


So we have been quiet these last few months. We are working hard to move forward in this business. We are a publisher that wants to tough it out this business, we will be here as long as you are here wanting to read.

We celebrated our one year anniversary. April 15th 2008 was our opening day. We have grown from a company of four great books to now TWENTY. It has been an amazing year and I would love to thank all of my authors for helping build Dark Roast Press to the company we are today. Here is to our future!
